Yes, for free, until 6 May. After that, send us an email and we'll change it at the door.
Full refund until 1 April, 50% until 1 May. After that we can't refund, but you can give or sell your ticket to someone else.
We give away 40 two-day passes to people who couldn't otherwise come. Apply by 1 March with a short note; no proof needed.
Any student in full or part-time education, including evening courses. Bring a student card or letter to the door.
[03] VENUE
Venue
Kraanhal is at Maashaven Oostzijde 21, Rotterdam, a four-minute walk from the Maashaven metro and on the 23 tram line.
Every room is step-free, there is a lift to The Loft, accessible toilets on both floors and a quiet room open all day. Reserved seats are held near the front of every room.
Yes, free, at the east door. Big suitcases are fine too; it's a crane hall.
[04] PROGRAMME
Programme
Every talk in the Main Hall and Hall B is filmed. Ticket holders get the recordings three weeks after the event; everyone else gets them six months later.
Live captions run beside the stage in the Main Hall and Hall B, and transcripts of every talk are published within a week.
Each talk ends with one question from the floor, chosen by the host from cards collected in the room. Speakers stay for the break after their talk.
Workshops are booked separately, have 8 to 20 seats and run in parallel with the talks. A two-day pass is needed to book one.
[05] TRAVEL
Travel
We hold rooms at three hotels within a tram ride of Kraanhal, at a discount until 15 April. The codes are on the Venue page.
Take the direct train to Rotterdam Centraal (26 minutes), then metro line D or E to Maashaven. The whole trip takes under an hour.
There are 60 paid spaces behind the hall. We'd rather you took the tram: the 23 stops outside.
